# Weekly analytics read for skoa.online

The site tracks visits without cookies: a visitor is a daily hash of IP and user agent, bots are filtered, and datacenter networks are classified as `hosting`. Everything lives in Supabase; the owner's browser is excluded with the `skoa_analytics_ignore` flag.

## Get the data

- Endpoint: `GET https://www.skoa.online/api/admin?data=1&days=N` with HTTP Basic auth. User and password come from the environment (`SKOA_ADMIN_USER`, default `admin`, and `SKOA_ADMIN_PASSWORD`); never write them into a file, a prompt or a message.
- `days` is 1, 7, 30, 90 or 365. Use 7 for the weekly read and 30 for context.
- The JSON has `totals` (views, visitors, engaged_views, avg_seconds, post_views, leads, cta_clicks, bounce_pct, signups), `previous` (same keys for the period before), `bots_filtered`, `series`, `pages`, `entries`, `sources`, `campaigns`, `countries`, `places`, `networks`, `events`, `devices`, `browsers`, `languages` and `recent`.

## Definitions

- Engaged view: 30 s or more of active time, or scroll depth of 75 % or more. Active time stops after 30 s without input.
- Lead: a waitlist signup or a click on the main call to action, a mailto link or a social profile.
- Bounce: one page and under 10 s.
- Source: `utm_source` if present, else `direct`, else the referrer host. Share links with `?utm_source=linkedin&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=<slug>` so a campaign shows up by name.

## Write the read

Five bullets, numbers with the change versus `previous`:

1. Visitors and engaged views, and whether the change is real (compare with `bots_filtered` and the `hosting` share in `networks`; a spike that is mostly hosting traffic is a crawler, not readers).
2. Top posts by views and by engagement; name the one worth promoting again.
3. Sources and campaigns; which channel brought engaged readers, not just views.
4. Leads: signups, CTA clicks, and which entry pages produced them.
5. Countries and places; flag anything new (a city or country that did not appear before).

End with one action for the week (promote a post, fix an entry page with high bounce, tag a campaign that is showing as `direct`).

## Rules

- Do not report positions or rankings from this data; that is the `skoa-seo-weekly` skill.
- Small numbers: under 20 visitors, say so and avoid percentages.
- If the endpoint returns 503, the error text names the cause (missing password, Supabase key); report it instead of guessing.
